"Dancing Dachshund Couple” is a traditional art piece by Laura Lemur. Colored with alcohol markers and lined with black ink, it depicts two brown doggies “bitten by the love bug.” They stand on their hind legs while making a heart shape with their bodies.

I originally thought about drawing these two Dachshunds with a more 1950s look. After sketching out the female Dachshund with the traditional 1950s housewife attire, I realized the drawing was getting too busy. My main focus with this piece was that the Dachsunds created a heart with their bodies. While it’s not the most original piece, it has an adorable quality.
